Toilet Cleaning

Garrett, the obsessive compulsive toddler, decided he needed to help me clean the bathrooms. I handed him the sponge and encouraged him to wipe the floor with it. This would keep him entertained and out of my way. I thought. Instead he plunged the sponge deep into the uncleaned toilet bowl. As I tried to wrangle him away from his beloved toilet sponge he ran quickly away, his saturated sponge depositing water in a trail behind him. Then he put it to his mouth and quickly sucked just before I yanked it from his hands. This leads me to wonder if Garrett will see his third birthday what with drinking toilet water and all. But dogs do it all the time and they survive so I'm sure he'll be alright.

  2. Too funny. You can't say he doesn't keep you on your toes. Has Michelle shared with you how Olivia will take her pants and diaper off and pee in her crib? She even made a solid deposit in there last week. And then was sitting in her crib poking it. Kids. J

  3. He will survive, amazingly, although obviously don't make it a habit. "Here G, are you thirsty? Have a toilet sponge!"

  6. LOL that's so funny. Next time you see Missy you will have to tell her than ask her to tell you her toddler vs. toilet grossness story.
