DNA Results

He just went from the potential birth father to the birth father. I don't know much else. I don't know where we go from here but I know it involves a third lawyer. And I know, through my tears, that God is in control.

  5. God has carried you through everything so far, He will be sufficient for everything yet to come. In my flesh, this wasn't what I was hoping for, but like you, I know God is in control. Continuing to pray...J

  15. A plus: at least you now know who is the biological father, and will have access to medical data if needed in the future. Also, if you raise Matthew, you will be able to honestly answer the question of whether or not he was wanted by his bio parents. Won't having the answers be better for him than not knowing who his bio father was? That his bio-mother knew who his father was, instead of "could of been a number of men..."
A mysterious "could be anyone" answer is not nearly as satisfying as a name, and a specific reason why he wasn't able to be a parent.

Just some thoughts that you may have already considered. Doesn't change what you have to go through to keep Matthew, but perhaps it is a positive part of the puzzle of "why".
