The Weekend

It's over. I didn't get tomatoes thrown at me--although, to be fair, we were camping so it would have been acorns. In any case...the women survived my pontificating. I'll be back in Salt Lake tomorrow. More to come...

  1. I heard from someone who was there-that you did a great job and that God answered your prayer-He did speak though you.

  2. Lori you did an amazing job! I felt truly blessed to be able to be there this weekend..if only for the one day.
You and your family are in my prayers and I am hoping AND praying that Matthew spends a long and happy life with you and Troy! Easton is 14 months now...and I can only brings me to tears as I think about it.
    Much love to you all!

  3. Wish I could have been there. We had an adoption event that we had to be at. We are in this journey with you, just at different chapters. Sorry I missed you, God bless.

  4. Lori, I am very blessed to have been able to attend this weekend and listen to you speak. Your message has really touched me. There comes a time in ones life were it is time to give my worries to GOD! And to understand that I can not fix everything by myself. On Sunday as my family arrived to load up the trailer to go home, my 7 year old Tyler was expierencing heart pain. We was literally having a melt down in the car saying, "Mommy I am having a heart attack!" We drove cautiosly all the way home dropped the trailer off and headed to the hospital. It appears that I am rubbing off on my children. Although the doctor said he has an upper respitory infection, his father and I feel it is Anxiety. He is a worrier just like his mommy. I thank you for opening my eyes to a problem that I need to stop! Tammy

  5. my mama said you were great! God is so good, we knew you'd be wonderful. plus, mama was rubbin' it in that she got hold matthew, whatever!
